Sound Healing is Energy Healing

You may be familiar with the relaxation that my group sound baths can offer in a concert-type setting, but let me share the profound power and healing potential that unfolds in a private sound and energy healing session.

Sound healing is a form of energy healing that utilizes vibrational frequencies to restore balance and harmony within the body’s energetic systems. These frequencies interact with the body’s own energy, promoting relaxation, clearing blockages, and supporting overall well-being.

In my private sound healing sessions, I tailor the process to your unique needs. It’s about connecting what you’re feeling or needing with the transformative sounds of healing instruments. This session unfolds intuitively, varying from person to person and from session to session. Depending on your comfort level, certain instruments, such as Tibetan singing bowls or the monochord, may be played directly on your body.

Throughout the process, I may also incorporate the Ataana Energy Healing (chakra-based) Method, Sacred Inner Dialogue, and Aromatherapy. As a token of self-love and care, I offer special aromatherapy roll-ons after each session, with blends like Self-love, Fear, Relax, and Balance that I have created as a certified aromatherapist. It’s my way of extending the healing experience beyond our time together.

Here’s a breakdown of the steps involved in a typical sound healing session:

  1. Connection: We begin by connecting with your current issues while inviting the Higher Realm and creating a protective space.
  2. Intention Setting: We clearly state the intention for the session, either verbally or nonverbally.
  3. Assessment of Energy Fields: Using a small Tibetan singing bowl, I listen and feel for imbalances in the chakras, aura, and other energy fields, as well as the five elements of consciousness (physical, emotional, mental, soul, and spirit).
  4. Co-creating Resonance: Balance is established through breath and/or the use of tuning forks near your ears or close to the source of discomfort.
  5. Triggering the Relaxation Response: I intuitively select various instruments, which can include drums, Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, the monochord, chimes, vocals (mantras or guided meditation), and more. These instruments open your mind, body, and spirit to deep relaxation.
  6. Release: Instruments are used to release any blocked energy. This could involve vigorous movement above your body using tuning forks, rattles, shakers, rain sticks/chimes, gongs, drums, and chanting.
  7. Transforming Resistance: When resistance is encountered, we embrace and accept it as a natural part of the session. Techniques like tapping on a Tibetan Singing Bowl can shift the energy. In dissipating energies, instruments such as the sansula, koshi or zaphir chimes, or gentle vocals may be used to gently open areas of resistance.
  8. Reforming: I may share affirmations to reinforce the intention. Soft tapping of crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, vocal toning, mantras, or koshi chimes can activate compassion and unconditional love, ushering in new patterns of wellness.
  9. Reflecting: As the session nears its conclusion, a moment of silence allows you to reflect and integrate the process.
  10. End of Session: To continue your healing journey, I might encourage meditation between sessions, journaling insights, and keeping in touch. Further recommendations may also be provided to maintain your focus on the healing process.
