In 1980, as I embarked on my meditation journey, one of the first techniques I learned was using a mantra. Chanting “Om”, a yogic mantra, was among those practices. At the age of 16, I discovered that it aided in calming my mind amidst the turbulent atmosphere in my family. This experience allowed me to find an inner center and stability.
